Bridging the Gaps: Public Health and Radiation Emergency Preparedness
A group of 436 participants and distinguished speakers attended the conference Bridging the Gaps: Public Health and Radiation Emergency Preparedness from March 21st-March 24th, 2011 in Atlanta, Georgia, providing a forum for professionals working in the fields of radiation preparedness, risk communication, and response in further understanding how to better respond to a radiation emergency. To address the Japan emergency (Fukushima Daiichi), a session was added to answer questions and concerns.
